Giving to CAFNR

A Message from the Dean

Dear Alums and Friends,

Thank you for everything you do for our great College. Your generous gifts and donations of funding, time and expertise are making a significant difference in the lives of our students, faculty and staff, and our teaching, research and outreach programs. The financial crisis that has, and is, facing our state and nation has greatly, and negatively, impacted support to MU and our College.

Your contributions make a difference by providing financial assistance to students – the College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources offers one of the largest scholarship programs at MU. Our students become part of our extended CAFNR network, and we are committed to providing them with a stellar education and opportunities for expanding their horizons and becoming the next generation of leaders, not only in their chosen fields, but also in society. Your gifts provide our students with this margin of excellence that helps them compete and succeed in today's marketplace.

In addition, your support helps provide program funds for the many efforts of our faculty and staff through which our College contributes to the needs of the state, nation and world. Our experts impact some of the most significant challenges today including drought, food production, health, nutrition and food safety and security. With your help, CAFNR will continue to be a leading college at MU and beyond.

I am very proud to be part of the CAFNR family, and I thank you for being a big part in bringing on that pride.
